Question by Yamigirl: Could putting that I am a filmmaker hurt my chances of getting a part?
I’ve been going out for large productions as an extra(you know bigger films) and i always put that I’ve directed or made a film(because I have). I was wondering if that may be hurting my chances of getting parts as an extra, because recently I haven’t been getting any parts as an extra, and normally I at least get a second call back. If it is then I dont want to put it on my resume! help?

you don’t audition for extra parts, their only looking for faces and bodies.what you tell them
would be immaterial. you wouldn’t be getting call backs for extra parts. there isn’t an audition
in the first place.
