Question by Ethan: FILM UCLA NYU and USC?
hey guys, quick question. I am from the UK aged 17 and i was wondering how important work experiance is to get onto these courses? aswell as that would doing workshops in subjects such as film making for 6 days and directing for a day and editing etc be a good idea and increase my chances. I get good grades in maths and psychology and also media and im doing a film course too. Other than making short films and documentaries what else is tehre i could do? i could get a lot of work experiance in loads of different Media based places such as the BBC etc, so should i take every chance i get and would it look really good? this is free volenteer work by the way. NYU has the best film program, hands down.
