Question by ~Claire~ AdavaKedavra: How can I become a BIG movie star?!?
HAHAHAHAHA!!! Ohhh, I crack myself up.
Obviously I most likely won’t become a movie star. I’m a working 14 year old actress…
Anywho, I have a few questions.
I’m starting to do a bit of professional modeling/acting in my area (Metro Detroit, MI). It’s going fairly well, I’ve got a resume going. After being in 5 plays, have two years of formal training, and summer acting camps for the past 6 years, how many things hould I be in before I approach an agent? Like how many modeling/acting jobs should I do before I get headshots and stuff?
My ultimate dream is to go to college, get a degree in something other than film (so I can fall back on a career), minor in screenwriting/directing. I want to be a filmmaker when I’m older, but I also love to act. Can I do both acting and directing?
I have five solid contacts in Hollywood (my aunt is a screenwriter/editor, my cousin is an actress/producer, her husband is an award winning cinematographer, my uncle is a screenwriter/actor, and my dads best friend from college is a VERY well off, well known director). Will this give me a signifacant boost, or atleast ensure a bit more stability than someone who has no connections?
THNKS!!!!
BQ: What is a good book about film, directing, producing, cinematography, or acting that I should read?

Get into commercials which are like really famous. Like maybe the Mcdonalds ad? Then everyone will realise it and be like oh have you seen that girl on that Mcdonalds ad she was pretty cool. Stuff like that. Also get an agent so you may be realised. Hoped I help. I’m on my way to acheiving my dream (being a succesful actress in Hollywood). I work really hard!!
