Question by Zoe: Looking for a Master’s in Fine Arts (MFA) in film studies/theory. Where can I get it?
Hi everyone. I am interested in getting an MFA in film studies/film theory. I plan on being a film professor at university level and want to teach film appreciation classes. I have already worked in the entertainment industry in several facets and am not interested in getting an MFA in writing or production. I want to get an MFA not as a filmmaker, but as a film scholar. I realize there are plenty of MA’s for this but I am specifically looking for an MFA that is solely based on film theory and study. Does this exist anywhere? Where can I obtain it? Many thanks.

My fine arts teacher got his masters at the University of Texas. God I hate that class
