Anything else you think I could do to greatly improve my chances. I appreciate it!!
Thanks, but I did mention I will be retaking my ACT and have many study aides that will help me increase my score. Where is documented about the +5 for being black? And is there anything ELSE besides my obviously low score on the ACT that I can work on?

You can’t get into these schools with this 26 ACT score unless maybe you’re black.

“The above answerer must have some issues with African Americans.”
Sigh… The answerer below obviously does not know being black is equivalent to adding ~5 points to an ACT score. This is well-documented…

http://opr.princeton.edu/faculty/tje/espenshadessqptii.pdf:
“African-American applicants receive the equivalent of 230 extra SAT points (on a 1600-point scale), and being Hispanic is worth an additional 185 SAT points… Asian-American applicants face a loss equivalent to 50 SAT points.”
[230 old SAT ~ 345 new SAT ~ 5 ACT]
