Question by Louis: What is the name of this obscure movie?
I remember reading about this movie awhile back, but cannot remember enough details for Google to help. I am pretty sure it was an independent film, probably art-house. It seemed like a documentary-style centered around two directors, one a student and one the mentor, where the student challenges his mentor to effectively “re-shoot” the mentor’s classic film in a variety of ways and locations. I think one of the challenges was stop-motion or some sort of animation, and another was having the mentor direct the film in a location where the mentor had tough memories. I think at least one of the directors was French, but I am not positive. Anyone know which film I am talking about?
Thanks, going through the categories, I found the name of the movie: The Five Obstructions.
