Answer by RetroRay
The documentary is titled, “HUNTED ROYAL/THE QUEEN’S VISITOR.”
It was produced by Atlas Media and distributed by The Learning Channel (TLC), a Discovery Company. It was an episode of a documentary series (6 episodes) titled “ROYAL INQUEST.” The episode aired originally on March 29, 2009.
“HUNTED ROYAL/THE QUEEN’S VISITOR” documented two stories:
1. The story of the mentally unstable Michael Fagan who broke into Buckingham Palace. He evaded royal security, and made it all the way into Queen Elizabeth II’s royal bedchamber. The queen awakened to find herself alone with Fagan, who was clutching a jagged shard of broken glass.
2. The story of petty criminal Ian Ball who became obsessed with newlywed Princess Anne. He had a gun and said that he would kill anyone who tried to stop his plan to kidnap Princess Anne.
