The story is the entire movie, from start to end.
The plot is a brief synopsis of that story. For example, the plot of Goldilocks & The Three Bears is that a little blonde girl goes into a bear’s home and eats all their porridge. That’s not the whole story, but if you read the whole book, then you’d read the whole story.
Unique tools that a fimmaker uses? Not sure.
