i think is not such a thing as “the best place”…Art Direction and Production design is a very complex career that demands a very eclectict and profund education, conceptually and technically .
Anyway there is the NYU Design program at the film school and a quiet respetable program in Barcelona.London may have a good program too.
I,m an Art Director and Production Designer from Argentina as well as a dedicated Professor in this area.
