Question by Shahar: Which University is best for becoming a successful director?
Hi, I want to become a film director and many teachers that taught my filming classes told me I’ve got a talent and I can make it big in Hollywood.
So I want to study in a good university. Which university is the best film directing school? And which one is the “hottest” and most “liked” by Hollywood producers?
Also which university has the best graduate society, there are many schools that the people who graduate from there are more likely to get a job because the boss also went to the same university….

I think as long as you apply yourself and can prove yourself a good director (with various independent films) you will do fine. But I would look into the college paths of directors you admire also. Quentin Tarrentino, Steven Speilburg, Gary or Penny Marshal? Who do you admire.
