Question by ashley: short film idea for highschool class?
so i have to do this short film for my tv production class and ive never made a film before. i only have one other girl in my group and we already planned out our entire movie, thinking the two other people in our group would still be here, but they got switched out of the class and our teacher is making us do this film by ourselves. anyways, i was brainstorming ideas for a 5 minute short movie we could do with only the 2 of us, and the only thing i could think of doing was a documentary on the way everyone is connected. like how one person influences another person who influences another person and eventually it comes back to the person who started it. does that make any sense or sound like a good short film? it was the only thing i could think of!
and my other option would be to do a short documentary on a teens life in high school, which doesnt sound that interesting or fun, but i cant think of anything else!
so does the 1st idea sound ok? and if anyone has other ideas could you let me know? this project is due in a 2 weeks!

You should make a comedy based on the old “girl gets tied to the tracks” gimmick, with a villan with a tophat and a pencil mustache.
You can film it in black and white or sepia, and have super exaggerated acting and ridiculous piano music.
It would be great lol
