Question by V.M.L.: Should I major in animation or live-action filmmaking?
I’m currently attending community college in San Diego and I plan on transferring (preferably in the Los Angeles area). I’m taking film classes right now. My dilemma is that I love both filmmaking and animation but its hard to major in both at the same time. Most colleges offer them as separate majors.
Should I try majoring in both? Or should I just focus on one? If so, which one and why?

if you love them both then i would do both. Do what makes you happy. It would also keep your future options more open.
