starting indie filmmaker, first good camera buy, which camera should i buy?
remember i am new to this, so i don’t know if i will use or really need any of the great features offered. also i am on a limited budget

HDR-FX7: MiniDV tape, DV, DV widescreen, HDV video formats. Separate manual zoom and manual focus rings. Manual audio control on the outside of the camcorder. The mic jack is only 1/8″ (3.5mm) but XLR mics can be used with the FX7 by adding a XLR connector from juicedLink (suggest CX231) or BeachTek (suggest DXA-6). 3chip imaging chip array. “Pro” sibling is the HVR-V1U.
GL2 is standard def, only. No “pro sibling”.
HD6 is consumer grade sized lens and single imaging chip. No “pro sibling”.
HD1000 is shoulder mount – but consumer grade sized lens and single imaging chip. No “pro sibling”.
