a short film i did in my intro to digital filmmaking class…
This is our final video project that we made for our filmmaking class. It had to be a documentary on marine life or science, and it had to be 10 – 12 mins long.My partner and I filmed it in about 4 days and edited it in 1 night! It was filmed on the Ross Islets in Barkley Sound, Bamfield. We decided to do our documentary on a day in a life of a male mink because we knew we could get great footage of the mink. However, this meant hours of sitting and waiting for the mink to appear. It was all worth it though! After we screened the class’ movies, our teachers held the first annual Bammy awards where we received the Bammy for the Best Wildlife Footage!
