The last film I shot on my own outside of film school. Was shot during my first semester at Columbia fresh out of high school, but before I had any real film production classes or projects. Still shot with myself as a one man crew and my friends as cast- but trying a lot harder. This was the first time I really concentrated on trying to write an exciting story, and my first real attempt at heavily stylizing a project. Still at a loss as to where this noir super dark aesthetic came from or what inspired the story, but to be completely honest it still sort of impresses me in retrospect. On his way to pick up a drunken friend in the middle of the night, a young man witnesses something that sends him running terrified out of his mind. (January 2007)
