cinematic look that all of us independent filmmakers are looking for.
It is true that a good story can go a long way but it is also false that if you have a good story your audience will forgive your bad quality, yeah, as they watch the story but when the film is over they will surely talk about your bad footage. With all the inexpensive gear we have today to make films, there should be no reason why our independent films have to depend only on storytelling which is a writers jobs to keep our audience interested, what about filmmaking ? If you only have a good story to tell and you are horrible at filmmaking, then you might as well not waste time making a movie and just write a novel, it makes sense if the audience does not care for the way you shot the film and the picture quality and only care for the story then you failed as a film director. the credit just goes
