Not all “filmmaking” schools are created equally so finding a GOOD school in both may be difficult. That said, I’d advise that you look FIRST for a Filmschool that offers filmmaking curriculum that is what YOU need for whichever element of filmmaking interests you.
Because you also ask about Fashion Design/Design, I assume that you wish to become a Costume Designer for the professional motion-picture industry as a career. So as you research Filmschools, contact the Deans of those schools and ask specific questions about their curriculum in terms of what it is YOU want to get out of a formal education. If that school doesn’t have a specific concentration in Costuming, then find another one.
I want to recommend that you start by reading the book, “What I Really Want to Do: On Set in Hollywood,” chapters one through five and chapters nine and ten which are specifically about Costume Design and Wardrobe.
You can find the world’s most comprehensive list of filmschools at: http://www.whatireallywanttodo.com/Filmschools.htm
There are also a number of books available which speak directly about Costume Design for film: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=costume+design&x=0&y=0
Know that you likely WON’T get a job in the motion-picture industry because of any University degree you earn. What will matter most is what you can do, who you know, and who knows you and what you can do. To that end, you’ll want to start designing as soon as you can. Having a variety of “tear sheets” (your portfolio as a Costume Designer) will help you find work (likely for free at first) for school or community theater productions, student films, and eventually non-union indie movies. You won’t be able to work on big “Hollywood” movies until you are a member of IATSE Local 892.
