Question by Black Guy: What do you guys think of this movie?
I’m a black independent filmmaker and i am working on a movie called “Crime Ain’t Got No Color”. It is a movie about a racist white cop and a racist black cop. After a brutal murder is committed in their precinct, Their captain forces them to work together as the lead detectives in the case. The white cop says a black thug probably did it. The black cop says a white cracker probably did it. As they get deeper into the case, they find out that the criminals who committed the murder were black and white. This shocks them. They also find out that the victim of the crime was a husband and a father of 3 kids. They become so focused on catching the criminals, they put their prejudices to the side. In a emotional scene later on, the white cop reveals to his partner that his brother was murdered by black gang bangers when he was 14 and says this is the reason for his indifference towards blacks. The black cop then reveals a secret and says that his best friend was killed by a white when a little kid and says that’s why he has hated whites. The murders they talk about are seen in flashbacks to their past. After they reveal their secrets they proclaim that crime is crime and low lives both black and white who break the law should pay. In the end they get into a shootout with the criminals and kill them. In the final moments of the movie, the give each other a handpound and say CRIME AIN’T GOT NO COLOR. What do you guys think of the plot? Could this movie do well? Is their anything i can do to make it better? I would appreciate your feedback. Thanks!
