Question by iFanFarm: what do you know about colleges and careers in film editing?
Im really interested in video and film editing, not like the camera work, but the editing aspect.
I was wondering if you know anything about careers in this field.
Is it hard to get a job in it
Are there even jobs out there
What kind of education is best( like majors and stuff)
What other advice can you give me?
I am currently a freshman in college majoring in biology, but I really want to know about this. I have taken some film editing classes for fun, and I have really enjoyed them,

I know that there are so many more applicants for these jobs than there are available jobs that it would be better to major in biology and to minor in film for fun if you wish. This is a serious answer.
