Im an amateur filmmaker looking for a fast computer that has no problem with editing and rendering HD videos. Any ideas on good desktop computers I could get for the job?

an imac is for you. go to apple.com and select mac, then go to imac and configure the setting how you want them. The imac is a pretty good entry level easy to use computer, but if you want more real functionality, go with a studio 17 laptop from dell. If you use a lot of the options, the stats beat the heck out of the imac, and it is a laptop so it is much more portable. Alo windows is better for video editing than osx. thirdly, probably your best option, but the hardest, you could build your own system at newegg.com. Make sure it has a killer 3d video card and at least 4 gigs of ram. I would probably go with an amd x6, or an amd x4 black edition.
