Question by Peter: What is the difference between being a director, producer, and screenwriter?
I really want to get into acting career, but I have to know the difference between what director, producer, and screenwriter does. Don’t tell me that their work is similar. I already know what the job of the actor is, but I need to know these differences.

The director directs the action of the piece, moving the actors and plotting the scenes; the producer is responsible for the production and working to a budget telling the director what he can and cannot afford while the screenwriter prepares the script the actors and director needs. This may be an original piece of writing or an adaptation from a book or play-script.
