Question by Mitchell: What version of the film Macbeth would be best to show to a class of 10th graders?
I’m making a presentation on Act 4 of Macbeth, and I wanted to show videos from a movie version, but there are so many! What would be a good one to show to everyone? (It would be somewhat fast paced, but informative and fun at the same time)
I did the same with the Miller’s tale of canturbury tales, read the description for an idea of what I want to do: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1KBT3i6ocY

There was a 2006 retelling of the movie done by Geoffrey Wright in my it is done in the same fashion as the retelling of Romeo and Juliet with Leonardo DiCaprio…being that it is made to look as if it were told in modern day but keeps with the original script of old english…(which made it hard to understand at certain parts) despite having some slow scenes it was pretty good
