I want to be someone who makes music videos and short meaningful films, but what is that job called? and how do I get into it? (uni or?)

Films are ordinarily made by a team. The person responsible for seeing that the film gets completed is called a producer and the one who directs the day-to-day events is called a director. On a short film or music video you would likely be called a producer/director.
